I’m Jonny Flynn, and I founded Claritas because I’ve spent over three decades sitting where you’re sitting now – wrestling with the same business and marketing challenges, facing the same pressures to deliver measurable growth, and dealing with the same executive expectations.
I’ve been the marketing director asked to transform brand performance whilst managing tight budgets. I’ve run my own business, built teams from scratch, repositioned established brands, and driven the kind of commercial outcomes that move the dial on business performance. I’ve worked across automotive, B2B technology, real estate, and FMCG, for organisations ranging from scale-ups to global names like JLL, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Oracle, and PepsiCo.

More importantly, I’ve led marketing for a global real estate leader, founded and scaled my own consultancy, and delivered award-winning campaigns for organisations from SMES to global matrix-structured businesses, moving the needle on both brand perception and bottom-line business performance.
I’ve managed eight-figure budgets, built high-performing teams, and worked across the UK, European, and US markets. I understand P&L accountability, commercial decision-making, and the reality of balancing strategic ambition with operational constraints. I’ve also made plenty of mistakes along the way, which means I can help you avoid them.
How I work
I don’t believe in jargon for jargon’s sake, or strategies that look impressive in PowerPoint but fall apart in practice. My approach is straightforward: understand your business, identify what’s actually holding you back (not what you think is holding you back), and build practical, data-led strategies that deliver commercial results.
